Coconut Grove is the oldest neighborhood in Miami Dade. It is located south of the neighborhoods of Brickell and the roads and East of Coral Gables. Having one of the greenest areas in Miami, Coconut Grove is referred to as “The Grove” by many locals. The Grove has numerous restaurants, open-air and street-side cafes, and several waterfront restaurants and bars, also, the downtown area was recently renovated.
 
By night, the Grove becomes a center of nightlife frequented by locals, young professionals, students from the nearby University of Miami and Florida International University, and of course tourists. Coconut Grove also has shopping in abundance with two open-air malls, the Streets of Mayfair, and many other street shops and boutiques. With so many known attractions such as Monty’s and Peacock Park where you can take a stroll and admire the marina views, there is also Cocowalk, where most of the happening restaurants come alive. Coconut Grove is known for its Art and its Bohemian vibes. This is the highest point in Miami Dade County Parks.
