Spring in Miami means one thing: it's finally cool enough to actually enjoy being outside. These are the cocktail bars worth making a reservation for this season, whether you're after a sexy date night spot, a low-key dive with great drinks, or something in between.
SUNKISSED
Sunkissed is the rare Brickell cocktail bar/restaurant that actually delivers on food. The red-walled, orange-lit dining room is warm and sexy, with a live band Wednesday through Saturday and sightlines from nearly every seat. The menu is just as impressive as the atmosphere. Right now, it's our top pick for a fun date night in Brickell.
STORMY MONDAY
Miami Beach's new addition, Stormy Monday, just opened, and it is a must-try this season-think thundercloud ceiling decor and Everglades oysters with pomegranate foam. Their Martinelli sling is a real standout, and their small bites are solid enough for a light dinner. Book ahead while you can, and aim for Monday or Friday for live music.
THE MOON STEAKHOUSE & PIANO BAR
The Moon Steakhouse & Piano Bar is a contemporary steakhouse with Italian influence, offering premium cuts, elevated cocktails, and live piano performances in an intimate, upscale setting.
THE BEND
The Bend is a retro dive bar for the Hot Topic super fans among us. One side has a giant Yoda statue and guava long islands; the other is a wood-paneled basement vibe with a functioning Nintendo 64 and beer and wine only.
MAGIE
Magie is a Little River wine bar with a standout happy hour: any bottle under $50, plus a grilled cheese and charcuterie plate, for $65 total — daily from 4–7pm. They call it "girl dinner," but the deal is good enough for everyone.
